In brokenness we walk the narrow road
Wearing a shattered mask, we smile a broken smile
Deceived that our cracked and torn disguise
Hides well the torment buried deep inside.
 
Fear of judgment and rejection
Bind us to silence and loneliness
Convinced its better to not love at all
Than risk the consequences of losing it again.
